Theatre Posters

A series of theatre posters for Horace McCoy's 'They Shoot Horses Don't They', J. B. Priestley's 'An Inspector Calls' and Dylan Thomas' 'Under Milk Wood'. The 'They Shoot Horses Don't They' poster aims to convey the cold reality behind the glitz and glamour of the contest within the play. The poster consists of a screen printed mirror and shards of a disco ball laying beside it. The 'An Inspector Calls' poster focuses on the idea that the 'inspector' in the play may well be a ghost by using multiple exposures as used in fake ghost photography. While the 'Under Milk Wood' poster focuses on the notion of finding beauty in the mundane by turning a bland seaside town photograph into a kaleidoscopic form.
